Canon of Carlisle; born in 1862; educated at Repton School, and Pembroke College, Cambridge; B.A., 1884; M.A., 1889.  Vicar of Epsom; first Curate of St. Peter's, Cheltenham, 1886-89, and of St. Michael, Chester Square, 1889-90; Reident Chaplain to the Bishop of Winchester, 1890-92; Vicar of Micheldever with East Stratton, Hants, 1891-97; Surrogate, Diocese of Winchester, 1898; Vicar of Thames Ditton, 1897-1904; Vicar of Epsom, 1904;  Diocesan appointments:  Hon. Missioner, and Hon. Diocesan Inspector of Schools; author of "Repentance and Perserverance" (Skeffingtons).

Married Ethel Labouchere, daughter of the late Rev. G. W. Hillyer, Vicar of Coldharbour, Surrey.
