Cup the East Surrey League Top 10 & came 2nd in the East Surrey League.
Bowls4free was a cash initiative from Surrey Bowls
Alliance taken up with enthusiasm by Sandra Huxford, EBC Publicity
Officer, and her team, which
resulted in the Club holding a very successful Open Day on Saturday 19
May 2012. Helped by good weather the Open Day was attended by nearly 30
visitors and supported by many Club members. Our Club coaches offered up
to four free coaching sessions to 17 potential members which resulted in
three new lady and six new men members, for which Surrey Bowls Alliance
awarded EBC a grant of £190.
A very successful day of bowling (and dressing up in red,
white & blue) on 5th June to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

£300 from National Counties Building
Society has been put in the General Fund. Harold Yates has left
£2,000 to the Club in his will.
Sadly Epsom Bowling Club has lost
many members over the last year. These members contributed a great
deal to the Club in many different ways. We acknowledge their
contribution to the Epsom Bowling Club. These were:-

its buildings from Midnight on 12th January 2007. Bill Ellis &
Eileen Godfrey are elected as Honorary Vice-Presidents of the Club in
recognition of their past outstanding services to the Club.

Extracts from amendments to dress
code as follows:- For all Men's matches commencing before 6.00pm,
Finals Days events and certain Tournaments, dress on the green will be
white tailored trousers or shorts and white shirt, Club
tie. Shirts reflecting the Club's registered colours may be worn, at the
discretion of the Captain, for any specified games or outside
competitions, subject to E.B.A. ruling that, in any such competitions,
team members must wear the same attire, either colour or white
shirts.

It was
agreed at the Executive Meeting held on Wednesday 13th September to make Ron
Perkins a Club Honorary Life Member in recognition of his past service and fifty
years membership of the Club. Also to Vic Shrosbree for his efforts in
organising and running the 100 Club, keeping day to day records of all Club
matches played, assisting with the Sunday Morning Invitation competition and
assisting on the Bar Committee.
Repairs to the Clubhouse roof now complete - work guaranteed for 12 years.
The
change of Club status to a 'Community Amateur Sports Club' has brought
benefits to the Club, in particular 90% Rate Relief from the Borough Council &
Gift Aid Tax Relief on donations. Small surplus reported in Finance.
